Welcome

Welcome to the Southampton Medics' First Responders scheme home page.

In brief, we are volunteers from Southampton University school of medicine that live and work in the Shirley/Portswood/Highfield/Belvois Valley areas of Southampton. Our scheme works in partnership with the Ambulance service to respond to life threatening emergency medical calls within our areas, providing vital assistance to patients prior to the arrival of the ambulance service.

Thank you for visiting our site and if you want to find out more about what we do and how you could be a part of our scheme please use the site navigators above. If you still have some unanswered questions, please contact us regarding your enquiries and we will do our best to contact you as soon as possible.
