Committee structure

- The names and soton email addresses are attached on a separate worddocument. If I have missed anyone out then let me know. There were a few peoplewho wanted to be on the committee but couldn’t make it to the meeting. I willsee if they are still interested and give them the relevant email addresses toget in contact.

Fundraising

- Fundraising for – kits we take out with us on call, bleeps and AEDs

- Aiming to have a bag packing day on 6th Dec, email hasalready been sent round.  Pleasetry and come along and get some cash in the buckets!! Email Miriam if you canmake it. Location to be confirmed.

- Write letters to get some money – British Heart Foundation, grants from the Council etc. If anyone hasany contacts get in touch with the fundraising team.

- T shirts – Cara will be ordering 25 medium sized t shirts, please lether know if you will prefer another size. Bring your check books to the nextcommittee meeting to pay her please.

- NB – When it has been decided which logo you will be using on the tshirts we can use it as a letter head.

Training ( I don’t have much written down here, so if someone from the training committeecan email we with your plan of action for the next few weeks, that would begreat)

- Organising

o Kits and ID cards

o training weekends

o CRBs

o Shadowing

Finance

- Lindsay is sorting out signatories for the account

- Hopefully the cash will start rolling in after our fundraising events

Events and PR

- Potentially have some events and training sessions with Friends ofBasics (FOBs)

General

- Every committee meeting to be held on the first Thursday of every month

- If anyone wants an email sent to the whole mailing list then email it tothe SMFRs email address and I (Rachel) will forward it round

- Minutes from sub committee meetings to be emailed to SMFRs email addresstoo for filing
